Potato Grader/Halver
A system to automatically grade potatoes and if oversized, cut in half
Undersized potatoes will drop through the grader, oversized will pass over the scrolls and enter the potato halver, Oversized potatoes are automatically orientated to travel widest edge first towards the halving knifes where they are then cut in half by means of a rotating circular blade.
This process can drastically reduce labour and increase accuracy and consistency of cut, essential if you are running high-speed packaging machines.
The system can be supplied in 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10 lanes for varying capacities.
Key Features
The size to be graded is sellected on the 10" colour HMI along with all machine controls.
The system contains no gears, chains of pullys and is virtually maintenance free. It is fully wash-down.
Infeed belts/vibtators and take-out belts can be added.
